Job Description

Step into a pivotal role as a Registered Nurse in the PCU, where every shift blends acute care precision with compassionate recovery, guiding patients through critical transitions with confidence. In Montana’s Great Falls, you’ll join a motivated team that values excellence, teamwork, and patient-centered care. Imagine beginning each day inspired by Montana’s awe-inspiring landscapes—the expansive skies, the nearby mountains, the Missouri River carving through the region—providing a daily backdrop that fuels dedication and resilience as you deliver exceptional nursing care. This assignment offers you the chance to experience the appealing life and professional rewards of Montana’s largest waterfall city, with the charm of a close-knit community, affordable living, and access to outdoor adventures that cover every season. Great Falls serves as a welcoming center for healthcare innovation, yet the opportunity also presents pathways to work in various locations across the U.S., expanding your clinical repertoire and connecting you with a broad network of facilities. You’ll gain exposure to diverse patient populations and hospital cultures, enriching your practice while maintaining the stability of a focused PCU role. Whether you’re drawn to Montana’s scenic beauty or curious about exploring new regions, this program supports your growth within a flexible, rewarding travel framework. As a PCU RN, you’ll manage patients who require a higher level of observation than a typical medical-surgical unit but who do not need intensive care. Your duties include continuous telemetry monitoring, IV therapy administration, medication management, wound and ostomy care as applicable, and rapid response to evolving clinical situations. You’ll collaborate with physicians, therapists, and ancillary staff to implement care plans, prioritize patient safety, and minimize length of stay through effective discharge planning and family education. The role offers ongoing opportunities for professional development within the PCU specialty—advancing your skills in hemodynamic monitoring, post-acute stabilization, and transitional care. You’ll be encouraged to pursue certifications and specialty training, with support to help you achieve your clinical and leadership goals. You can expect a comprehensive benefits package that recognizes your expertise, including a competitive weekly pay range of 1,708 to 1,782 dollars and guaranteed hours of 36 per week, reflecting both your reliability and your value to the team. In addition, you’ll have access to a sign-on bonus, housing assistance to ease relocation and daily life, and clear pathways to contract extensions that acknowledge your performance and the facility’s needs. The arrangement emphasizes robust, continuous support to ensure your success on the road. You’ll benefit from 24/7 support while traveling with the company, a dedicated liaison for onboarding, ongoing clinical mentorship, and rapid access to resources and troubleshooting whenever you need them. This level of assistance is designed to reduce transition friction, allowing you to focus on delivering outstanding patient care and cultivating professional confidence in unfamiliar environments. The program also provides structured orientation, simulation-based refreshers, and a network of travel colleagues to share best practices, tips, and encouragement as you navigate different facility cultures. Our organization is built on values that empower you to grow while enjoying a collaborative, respectful workplace. We are committed to advancing your career through mentorship, access to continuing education, leadership exposure, and the chance to broaden your clinical impact across settings. You’ll join a culture that recognizes your contributions, values your voice, and champions work–life balance, personal well-being, and professional fulfillment. As you expand your expertise, you’ll discover multiple avenues for progression—whether you choose to deepen your PCU focus, prepare for leadership roles, or explore cross-disciplinary opportunities—within an environment that supports your ambition. If you’re ready to apply your PCU expertise to a Montana chapter while keeping doors open for national mobility, this is an exciting opportunity. The role is designed to start December 17, 2025, with a dynamic path forward that accommodates your professional goals and personal commitments.
