Job Description

Responsibilities (Essential):

  • Serves as the Bank's business development representative (new and existing) for cash management, merchant and payroll services referrals across all business lines
  • Ability to prepare professional client and/or prospect proposals as well as all documentation required to establish treasury services
  • Provide internal and external customer service to support all treasury services products
  • Administrative tasks and other duties as required
  • Continuously educate Commercial Relationship Managers and Retail staff on new and existing treasury products and services
  • Ability to work independently, yet exercise discretion when issues need to be elevated
  • Ability to recommend operating efficiencies to improve bank profitability
  • Enthusiastically support the Bank's Guiding Principles and Brand Behaviors
  • Adhere to regulatory requirements, such as Anti-Money Laundering and Bank Secrecy Act; complete all required bank training courses on or before due dates
  • Comprehend and adhere to federal banking regulations in accordance with Bar Harbor Bank & Trust's policies and procedures

Required Education & Experience:

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management and problem solving skills
  • The flexibility to learn and keep current with changing procedures and regulations, varying job assignments, technological advances and new equipment.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Physical Demands: General office environment.

Work Environment: General office environment.

Schedule Expectations:

Full time, 5 days per week

Required Travel:

This position requires travel approximately 50% of work hours.
