Starting $40-$44/hr (DOE)
Part Time / Weekend shift
Ridgeway Post Acute is seeking a skilled and compassionate Treatment Nurse (LVN) to join our clinical team! If you're passionate about wound care, resident outcomes, and working alongside a supportive interdisciplinary team, this could be the perfect next step in your nursing career.
Position Overview
As our Treatment Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting resident healing and comfort through strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through on wound and skin care plans.
Key Responsibilities
Provide skilled wound and skin care treatments per physician orders and facility protocols
Perform wound assessments and accurately document progress and changes
Communicate treatment updates with the care team, providers, and families as needed
Assist with care planning and ensure proper implementation of wound prevention strategies
Support infection control standards and monitor for signs/symptoms of infection
Collaborate with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams to promote best outcomes
Ensure accurate and timely treatment documentation in the medical record
Qualifications
Current California LVN license in good standing
Experience in wound care/treatments in a skilled nursing or post-acute setting preferred
Strong assessment and documentation skills
Team-oriented, reliable, and compassionate bedside manner
Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality resident care
