Truck Driver

Job Description:

This position is responsible for delivering products to a specified route of customers on time with accuracy in a friendly and professional manner. This person will also be responsible for not only driving, but loading and unloading trailers following Standard Operating Procedures when needed (could account for up to 40% of total work), meeting unit quality and productivity

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Correctly obtain paperwork and signatures upon delivery and returning paperwork to Administrator's office

• Checking product when unloading

• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers

• Adhere to all safety requirements

• Ensure facility is maintained and kept clean at all times to promote a safe work environment

• Drive a lift truck meeting unit quality and productivity needs

• Complete paperwork thoroughly and promptly

• Perform all other duties as assigned accurately and courteously

• Follow planned load reports and stage the proper material

• Perform basic quality inspection of product prior to shipment

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 23 years old

• Meet Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and medical requirements

• Must possess a valid Class-A Commercial Driver's License

• Must be able to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Check in accordance with Cambria's standards

• Pass pre-employment substance abuse test as a safety sensitive employee

• Ability to operate van trailers or Conestoga flatbed trailers with a high degree of attention, skill, and dexterity to prevent damage to material and equipment.

• Ability to use power equipment safely and following proper instructions

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to speak and read English sufficiently to converse with the general public, read and understand highway signs/signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports/records.

• Ability to understand basic math concepts

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Tact and diplomacy required in dealing with customers at delivery locations to enhance our organizations reputation by ensuring courteous customer service

• Familiarity with region and routes

• Willing to accept responsibility for work assignments/duties and be held accountable for their successful completion

• Able to handle stressful situations and work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to apply appropriate use of personal protective equipment

• Able to work flexible hours including overtime and weekends

Physical Requirements:

• Work at varying heights, including on the rooftop of the buildings

• Lift up to 60 lbs.

• Push/pull 100 lbs.

• Stand on feet for long periods of time during a shift for up to 12 hours, with intermittent breaks

• Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by Cambria

• Participate in daily stretch and flex exercises

• Work in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions

• Walk up and down steps multiple times throughout shift

• Bend over multiple times throughout shift

Task Based Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements (Provided by Cambria):

• Steel toed boots

• Hearing Protection

• Safety glasses

• Cut-proof gloves

• Latex gloves

• Face shield

• High visibility vest

• Respirator

• *Employees who are required to wear a respirator must maintain a clean-shaven face in the area where the respirator seals to the skin.

Cambria's starting salary range for this position is $XX,XXX - $XX,XXX. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. This position may be eligible for a 15% shift differential which would be applied to the base hourly rate for all hours worked during designated overnight shift periods.

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
