Truck Driver - CDL A

This position is designed and intended to be performed in Peterborough, NH.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safely and accurately execute deliveries to commercial and private customer/vendor locations.
• Safely load and unload grain products and related freight.
• Execute internal transfers of product between two or more company locations following company policy and procedures.
• Maintain vehicle in a clean and safe operating condition, keeping accurate driver logs, and operating the vehicle according to local, state, and federal laws.
• Schedule regular preventative maintenance for delivery trucks and equipment.
• Schedule truck and trailer inspections to keep assets operational at all times.
• Perform pre and post-trip inspections on vehicles at the start and end of each shift.
• Operate a hand truck and a fork truck.
• Operate all equipment and vehicle in a safe manner and obey all safety laws and regulations.
• Receive, accurately load, and rotate product within warehouse.
• Keep warehouse and loading areas neat and clean.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma or GED.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be able to lift 55 lbs. to a height of 50 inches.
• Clean driving record.
• Valid Class A driver's license.
• Have a solid work history.
• Ability to adhere to all DOT regulations and traffic laws.
• Able to work independently as well as with others.
• Ability to pass pre employment drug screen.
