Working collaboratively with providers and departments across Lakewood Health System, the team plays a vital role in delivering timely results and advancing the organization's mission of improving health and well-being.

Mission for Position

The Ultrasound Technologist's mission is to deliver precise, high-quality diagnostic imaging through compassionate patient care, technical excellence, and collaboration with providers to support accurate diagnosis and exceptional outcomes at Lakewood Health System.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams and procedures
  • Interact professionally with patients and staff
  • Collaborate with team members to complete tasks
  • Enter orders and schedule exams as needed
  • Process imaging and report requests
  • Push images to requesting facilities
  • Answer department phone
  • Apply critical thinking in a dynamic workspace
