Supervises and coordinates activities of personnel engaged in carrying out departmental objectives in a unit of a department.

Major/Essential Functions
- Receives and processes Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery requests from patrons and libraries using numerous computer systems.
- Verifies bibliographic information provided by requesting patrons and libraries. (Identifies cost-effective library lenders to supply HSC Library needs).
- Processes accounts payable for ILL.
- Bills patrons and libraries for services. Prepares and submits transaction data files to the EFTS server.
- Compiles and reports ILL/Document Delivery
- Activity for Lubbock and branch libraries.
- Updates the SERHOLD and OCLC/Tipasa databases.
- Maintains copyright compliance files and sends transaction logs to Copyright Clearance Center.
- Maintains and updates ILL policies and procedures.
- Maintains ILL/Document Delivery filled request forms for seven-year period.
- Assists in evaluating new technologies in Interlibrary Loan/ Document Delivery.
- Communicates with Public Services Staff and ILL personnel in the HSC Libraries to propose policy and/or fee changes.
