Job Description
Business Solver is seeking an UX Designer who will be a major contributor to the development and optimization of our digital platforms. We are looking for someone with the ability to design frictionless digital experiences to empower health benefits literacy and utilization. This position will be responsible for facilitating, generating, and executing great digital user experiences for our clients.
Core skills:
- Experience with adapting their design process without compromising on quality partnering with Product Managers, Architects, and Development Managers
- Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience updates.
- Be proactive in planning for visual, UX, and research needs.
- Polished in presenting and communicating thinking/work to senior leaders.
- Ability to break down ambiguous asks and translate features into clear user experience outcomes.
Essential Duties:
- Skilled in asking questions and getting into deep discussion with subject matter experts.
- Strong ability to gather and document UX requirements in the form of process maps, user journey maps, interaction requirements and other deliverables.
- Solid understanding of user experience design principles with the ability to address complex design problems and provide sound design solutions.
- Responsible for design deliverables concepts, wireframes, interactive prototypes, design rationale, and specifications.
- Craft user experiences, alongside key product stakeholders, with high-level models/diagrams of how the system needs to support the user experience requirements, detailed experience storyboards and customer journey maps, flow diagrams, and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in design or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience collaborating with a team of Designers, Researchers, Engineers, Content Strategists, and Product Managers throughout the design process; creating user flows, wireframes, and building user interface mockups and prototypes.
- Experience designing across multiple platforms (desktop web, mobile, chat, etc.).
- A portfolio that demonstrates interaction design evolution to solve problems from low to high fidelity. Good understanding of how their work has impacted business results.
- Ability to gain a deep understanding of a complex domain and interaction design intuitive solutions for challenging problems.
- Ability to lead and ideate products from scratch and improve features, all with a user-centered design process.
- Ability to identify edge cases, validation rules, accessibility (WCAG 2.2), and metrics (task completion, time-on-task, error rate)
Preferred qualifications:
- Extensive experience with Figma, interaction design and prototyping software.
- Experience in complex domains, financial software or B2B solutions
- Skills in communicating and influencing product design strategy.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and familiarity with technical constraints and limitations as they apply to interaction design for platforms such as desktop and mobile.

Usual office environment with frequent sitting, walking, and standing. Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of office machinery. Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices such as the telephone.
The pay range for this position is $59K to $92K per year (pay to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, balanced against internal equity and competitive market based geographic ranges).
This role is eligible to participate in the annual bonus incentive plan.
