The OpportunityWe’re seeking an experienced Nursing Manager to lead our talented nursing team. This leadership role is responsible for staff development, workflow efficiency, and upholding the highest standards of patient care in a fast-paced emergency and specialty environment.What You’ll Do
- Lead, mentor, and develop nursing supervisors and technical staff.
- Oversee daily nursing operations, scheduling, and workflow.
- Collaborate with the Medical Director to maintain and elevate patient care standards.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training for nursing staff.
- Partner with hospital leadership on budgeting, staffing, and process improvements.
- Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture where team members thrive.
- RVT, LVT, or CVT preferred (or eligible to obtain).
- 5+ years of veterinary nursing experience, 2+ years in leadership (emergency/specialty experience strongly preferred).
- Strong knowledge of veterinary emergency & critical care, anesthesia, and surgery.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment.
- Work alongside board-certified specialists and emergency clinicians.
