The Animal Dental Center in Columbia, MD is hiring a full- time experienced Veterinary Technician or Assistant to join our Specialty team! (Registered Veterinary Technician preferred but not required)

COMPANY OVERVIEWThe Animal Dental Center (ADC) is a dental / oral-surgical specialty practice with multiple clinic locations in Towson, Annapolis, Columbia, and York, PA. For over 30 years, the mission at the Animal Dental Center has been to provide our patients with exceptional oral care by building a trusting partnership with pet owners in a warm and caring environment. Our practice strongly focuses on client education and community outreach programs to promote pet oral health awareness and hopefully nurture a longer and healthier quality of life for our four-legged loved ones.

POSITION SUMMARY

Our growing practice is seeking dedicated veterinary tech/assistants to join our team in Columbia, Maryland!

Qualified applicants have established skills in anesthesia, I.V. catheterization, pre / post surgical patient care, and patient recovery. Our practice has a strong focus on client education, therefore excellent client communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Candidates should possess a strong work ethic as part of a very dedicated team and thrive in a fast-paced / high-reward professional environment. Are you a driven individual who has no problem taking initiative in case management while also working well without direct supervision? We are seeking the brightest and the best!

CAREER REQUIREMENTS

3-5 years experience as a veterinary technician or assistant.
Caring and empathetic client care.
Schedule flexibility (some longer days, but no weekend hours necessary).
Computer / Technology proficiency and ability to learn medical / dental specialty software as necessary.

Work with our team of five (5) Board-Certified (AVDC) doctors and (5) residents with more than 40 cumulative years of professional experience in Veterinary Dentistry / Oral Surgery.

Grow within a highly progressive learning environment using state-of-the-art equipment such as CBCT imaging and advanced dental techniques.

Help teach and participate in our monthly world-class C.E. training programs through the Animal Dental Training Center in Towson, MD.

Our clinics are well established in the community and serve clients over a large part of the Mid-Atlantic region. Each of our locations is equipped with state of the art monitoring and diagnostic equipment to provide our patients the most advanced specialty care possible. We place high value on a close knit work environment and emphasize continuing education. As part of several specialty-only groups, our patients have access to board-certified veterinarians in many specialty departments, including Emergency and Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Cardiology, Neurology, Dermatology, and Ophthalmology.
