Position Summary:

The Vice President of Enterprise Account Development is a strategic sales leader responsible for driving growth in Vital Records Control's (VRC) records storage business by developing, expanding, and retaining enterprise-level client relationships. This role focuses on identifying new multi-location opportunities, deepening relationships with national and regional accounts, and ensuring exceptional service delivery that aligns with the secure, compliant, and efficient management of clients' physical and digital records.

The VP will lead the enterprise development strategy, work cross-functionally with operations and account management teams, and ensure that VRC's storage solutions meet the evolving compliance, security, and accessibility needs of Fortune 1000 clients and other large organizations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic Business Development

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive enterprise sales strategy to grow the records storage business, targeting large, multi-location organizations across key industries (healthcare, legal, financial services, government, etc.).
  • Identify and cultivate new enterprise-level sales opportunities through networking, lead generation, RFP processes, and leveraging existing relationships.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of enterprise prospects using CRM tools and analytics to track progress and forecast results.

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the executive sponsor for key enterprise accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
  • Partner with operations and account management teams to ensure seamless onboarding, compliance adherence, and high service delivery standards.
  • Identify opportunities for account expansion, including cross-selling complementary services (e.g., secure destruction, imaging/digital conversion, compliance consulting).

Leadership and Collaboration

  • Lead, coach, and mentor the enterprise sales team to achieve and exceed sales goals.
  • Collaborate with marketing to design campaigns, case studies, and value propositions tailored to enterprise prospects in the records storage space.
  • Partner with operations leadership to align service capabilities with client requirements and contractual commitments.

Industry and Market Expertise

  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of records storage regulations, compliance requirements (HIPAA, FACTA, Sarbanes-Oxley, etc.), and industry trends.
  • Represent VRC at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, positioning the company as a thought leader in secure records storage.
  • Monitor competitive landscape and recommend strategic adjustments to maintain and grow market share.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years in B2B enterprise sales leadership, preferably in records management, secure storage, information governance, or related industries.
  • Proven track record of developing and closing complex, multi-year enterprise contracts.
  • Deep understanding of compliance and security requirements related to physical and digital records storage.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence C-suite executives.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred).
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% for client engagement and business development activities.
