About the Role

We are seeking a driven and hands-on Vice President of Sales to lead and scale our New Logo and Expansion sales teams. This player-coach will embed best-in-class sales practices, drive day-to-day executional excellence, and build a high-performing, metrics-driven team. You will play a key role in shaping the strategy and ensuring predictable, sustainable growth across new customer acquisition and account expansion.

This is an ideal role for a sales leader who thrives in high-growth environments, drives discipline and results, and wants to build and scale a world-class direct sales organization. If you're excited to take ownership of both new business and expansion growth, we'd love to connect. This role can be located in our Lakewood, CO office (preferred) or as a remote employee.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop top-performing sales professionals across both new business and expansion teams.
  • Serve as a player-coach: directly support strategic opportunities while fostering team growth and accountability.
  • Foster a culture of high performance, executional rigor, and continuous improvement.
  • Own go-to-market strategy across both new customer acquisition and existing customer expansion.
  • Drive pipeline generation, qualification, and conversion with clarity and consistency.
  • Enforce scalable sales methodologies and playbooks aligned to each stage of the funnel.
  • Implement and refine forecasting processes, CRM discipline, and data hygiene.
  • Define and manage KPIs: bookings, win rates, cycle times, expansion revenue, and quota attainment.
  • Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to executive leadership to drive business decisions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience building and leading high-performing direct sales teams, preferably in SaaS or high-growth technology environments.
  • Proven ability to operate as a player-coach-engaging in deals while scaling a team.
  • Deep experience driving both new-logo acquisition and customer expansion strategies.
  • Strong command of sales metrics, CRM best practices, and operational rigor.
  • Excellent communicator and cross-functional leader with a collaborative, data-driven mindset.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
