Job Description

Role Summary

The Vice President, Sales - Americas (Walmart) will lead SharkNinja's Walmart retail partnership, responsible for driving growth, profitability, and strategic alignment with Walmart and Walmart.com across the U.S., Canada, and Latin America. This role will define and execute the commercial strategy to achieve market share gains, drive 5-star consumer experiences, and deliver exceptional retail performance. As a key member of the Americas commercial leadership team, this role combines strategic vision, cross-functional leadership, and hands-on execution to deliver category-defining results across Shark and Ninja portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the Americas Walmart business strategy, including annual and long-range plans to achieve revenue, margin, and share objectives.
  • Business Ownership: Act as the general manager for the Walmart channel, accountable for sales, profitability, forecasting accuracy, and executional excellence across in-store and online retail.
  • Partnership Management: Build and strengthen senior relationships with Walmart merchants, marketing, and operations leaders. Champion a joint business planning process that delivers mutual growth and consumer delight.
  • Omni-Channel Acceleration: Lead initiatives that integrate digital and physical retail, optimizing assortment, content, pricing, and promotion strategies to drive conversion and loyalty.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Marketing, Category, Supply Chain, Finance, and DTC teams to ensure seamless alignment of product launches, inventory, and marketing activations.
  • Team Development: Lead and develop a high-performing sales organization, fostering a culture of accountability, agility, and continuous improvement.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Leverage POS, Luminate, and consumer analytics to inform strategy, identify whitespace opportunities, and make quick, insight-led decisions.
  • Operational Excellence: Collaborate with Operations and Planning to ensure flawless execution of forecasts, replenishment, and promotional plans.
  • Executive Reporting: Provide clear, concise business updates to executive leadership, linking sales performance to strategic imperatives and consumer insights.

Qualifications

Required

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in retail or consumer goods sales leadership. Preferred deep expertise in managing Walmart or Walmart.com accounts across multiple categories.
  • Proven track record of delivering significant revenue and profit growth through strategic account leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Deep understanding of omni-channel retail dynamics, including eCommerce, fulfillment, and promotional levers.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and negotiation skills; adept at interpreting retail data and driving action plans.
  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop large, distributed teams.

Preferred

  • Experience managing U.S., Canada, and/or LATAM retail operations.
  • Background in consumer durables, small appliances, or CPG.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience in global or matrixed environments.

Travel Requirements

  • Up to 30%, including regular visits to Walmart HQ (Bentonville, AR) and SharkNinja offices in the Americas
