Job Description
Annual Compensation Range: $50,000-$56,000Biocoat is committed to providing the best in developing, manufacturing, and applying coatings on medical devices. We are looking for a Warehouse Associate to be part of a team-oriented environment. To be successful the associate will have experience with the job tasks, a positive attitude, like to interact with a variety of departments, and be willing to learn. - Ensure accurate, efficient and safe handling of merchandise during receiving, storage, and shipping
- Receive, offload, sort, store and retrieve product per regulations
- Maintain the work area and follow all safety requirements
- Log incoming and outgoing packages with use of the ERP system
- Collaborate and communicate with all Biocoat departments to ensure proper flow of incoming materials and devices
- Inspect various safety equipment and fire extinguishers on a routine basis
- Assist in the shipping department as needed
- Maintain inventory levels, place inventory order as needed, complete weekly inventory count
- High School diploma or GED required
- Current valid driver’s license
- Warehouse, shipping & receiving experience preferred but not required
- Excellent documentation skills
- Willing to be trained in handling dangerous goods to assist with packing materials
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and problem solving
- Comfortable working on a computer and have basic computer skills
- Must be an independent worker and self-starter capable of managing issues within the normal course and scope of the position with limited supervision
