Job Description

Annual Compensation Range: $50,000-$56,000Biocoat is committed to providing the best in developing, manufacturing, and applying coatings on medical devices. We are looking for a Warehouse Associate to be part of a team-oriented environment. To be successful the associate will have experience with the job tasks, a positive attitude, like to interact with a variety of departments, and be willing to learn. Ensure accurate, efficient and safe handling of merchandise during receiving, storage, and shipping
Receive, offload, sort, store and retrieve product per regulations
Maintain the work area and follow all safety requirements
Log incoming and outgoing packages with use of the ERP system
Collaborate and communicate with all Biocoat departments to ensure proper flow of incoming materials and devices
Inspect various safety equipment and fire extinguishers on a routine basis
Assist in the shipping department as needed
Maintain inventory levels, place inventory order as needed, complete weekly inventory count

Skills & Requirements:

High School diploma or GED required
Current valid driver’s license
Warehouse, shipping & receiving experience preferred but not required
Excellent documentation skills
Willing to be trained in handling dangerous goods to assist with packing materials
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and problem solving
Comfortable working on a computer and have basic computer skills
Must be an independent worker and self-starter capable of managing issues within the normal course and scope of the position with limited supervision
Flexible team player with a service orientation and a “can-do” attitude
