Position Overview:
Under the direction of the Manager Operations and/or Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Associate is responsible for shipping, receiving, logistical planning and assisting with general warehouse duties.
Responsibilities:
Primary Duties:
- Receive direct container shipments
- Pick, pack and ship truckload & less than truckload shipments daily
- Order management
- Warehouse organization and cleanliness
- Inventory control
- Maintain cooperative working relationships with all company employees, customers, owners and vendors.
- Understand and follow all safety policies.
- Stage and label product.
Requirements
Education:
- High school degree or equivalent
Experience:
- Forklift driving experience and certification
Other Requirements:
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel and Outlook
