Job Description

Join the industry leader in wholesale lawn & garden distribution! As a Warehouse Associate at BWI, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring that products are received, stocked, picked, and shipped accurately and efficiently. You’ll operate a variety of warehouse equipment, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and occasionally make local delivery runs — all while supporting the overall success of our business and customers.

What You’ll Do

  • Receive, check in, and stock incoming inventory.

  • Pick, package, and load outgoing products for customer orders and shipments.

  • Pull small warehouse orders for walk-in customers and interior items for shipping.

  • Prepare and ship items via UPS and FedEx.

  • Stock and merchandise shelves with products such as chemicals, pots, and tools.

  • Monitor and review inventory levels.

  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and showroom, including floors, shelves, windows, and doors.

  • Perform regular safety checks and ensure compliance with company standards.

  • Safely operate warehouse equipment, including propane forklifts, pallet jacks, and shrink wrappers.

  • Assist warehouse team members to ensure accuracy and timely order fulfillment.

  • Communicate with customers regarding inquiries and promotional opportunities.

  • Support additional warehouse and business needs as directed by management.

  • Make occasional local delivery runs as needed.

What You’ll Bring

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Computer Skills: Basic data entry and reporting proficiency.

  • Certifications:

    • Forklift Certification (provided in-house)

    • Haz-Mat Certification (HM 126-F)
