Job Description
Shift: 2nd Shift
Schedule: 4:30 PM-3:30 AM (overtime and weekends/holidays as required)
*May vary, depending on business needs.
Compensation Details:
Pay Rate: $21.75/hr
Additional Compensation Benefits
- Shift Differential: $0.50/hr while working on 2ndshift.
Position Summary
Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Clerk maintains optimal inventory levels and coordinates efficiently with suppliers and vendors. This position serves as the first line of defense for supplier issues and the final checkpoint for customer orders. The Clerk schedules vendor and carrier appointments, communicates pickups across departments, and addresses past-due orders with Procurement while notifying Customer Service of any fulfillment concerns. The Clerk also ships and receives all incoming and outgoing orders ensuring all shipments are accurately documented and records maintained both electronically and physically in a timely, organized manner.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year Warehouse Clerk/Dispatch experience preferred. (Data Entry Software).
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.

- Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with sales representatives, customers, truck drivers, vendors, and other external partners.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve operational issues efficiently.
- Knowledge in operating stand-up/reach/sit down forklift.
Responsibilities
- Ensure “Safety First” is always practiced, while observing and adhering to all job safety rules.
- Ensures warehouse area is always “audit ready”.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety protocols.
- Provide appointments for PO’s (Purchase Orders), Transfers, & Customer Orders based on availability and inventory levels.
- Ensure incoming product deliveries with adequate shelf life.
- Ability to follow all company SOP’s.
- Ensure team members follow FEFO (First Expired First Out)
- Supports the warehouse to ensure all tasks for Month-End are completed.
- Support communication with the Inventory team and Customer Service on Finished Goods with order fulfillment concerns.
- Ensures that all paperwork is filed physically and electronically in a timely manner.
- Ability to prioritize workloads and work under pressure.
- Ability to understand general work processes.
- Ability to receive written and verbal directions.
- Ability to work on a flexible schedule to include weekends.
- Perform additional duties assigned by Leadership.
Physical Responsibilities
- While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk and listen.
- The team member is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and use their hands and fingers to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Normal vision, hearing sensitivity and manual dexterity is necessary.
