Job Description

Tradesmen Electric Inc. is a highly reputable and well established electrical contractor located in Battle Ground, WA. We are currently hiring for the position of delivery driver. This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, and occasionally on Saturdays.JOB DESCRIPTION:Responsible for receiving and placing inventory into stock, picking and packing orders for delivery in a timely and accurate manner. Also responsible for picking up goods and delivering to specified locations, loading and unloading, warehouse keeping and inventory control.RESPONSIBILITIES:

Knowledge of warehouse product and the location of the inventory within the facility
Pick and properly fill orders, will call, process material transfers and shipments
Check merchandise in against receiving ticket
Deliver orders to and from jobsites
Load and unload deliveries by hand, with use of a hand truck or a fork lift
Customer service with outside agencies
Keep complete records as requested
Inspect vehicles and equipment before use and follow DOT regulations and safety standards
Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus)
Drivers will be required to meet Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
Clean driving record is a must
Must have strong organizational skills and ability to use technology as appropriate
Ability to use forklift and other equipment as necessary
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
This is a safety sensitive position. Applicant must be able to pass a drug test, background and driving check
