Job Description

Job Summary

WareHouse Lead will perform autonomously activities related to material and/or production planning in order to support manager to meet agreed deadlines, maximizing the production and meet the forecasted production volumes and consumption needs of the factory and/or resale. Be technical reference for other areas or new employees.

This position will be based in Chakan, Pune.

What you will do

  • Lead workplace and material handling safety.
  • Manage the end-to-end material flow in the factory (incl. Waste Management).
  • Actively manage the factory warehouse team (e.g., performance management, individual development).
  • Lead WCM teams and improvement activities within Logistics.
  • Support and preparation reporting of operational KPIs.
  • Collaborate with Factory, CSR, SCCT and Planning Hubs to secure customer deliveries and production supply.
  • Drive performance governance and maintain close relationship with logistics services and equipment providers (external warehouse, outsourced manning, forklifts, others).
  • Lead stock/inventory management ( incl cycle stock take).
  • Ensure compliance to Regulations and Procedures regarding Certifications (as BRC, FDA, SGI, FSC, OEA, ISO, ISCC Plus) as well as logistics guidelines and waste handling policy.

We believe you have

  • Experience in leading and managing a small sized team/organization.
  • Broad knowledge of theory and practice of supply chain, especially within of WH and Intralogistics operations.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of WCM methods and successful application.
  • Experienced in relevant IT platforms.
  • Ability work with cross-functionally.
  • Project management skills.
  • Self driven with a strong safety and quality mindset.
  • At least 5 years experience, from production or logistics.
