Warehouse Line Lead

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support in organizing the workload throughout the department to maximize efficiency and meet demand. Responsible for assisting Team leads with the day-to-day activities, executing workflow and motivates team. Ensure all warehousing activities including storage, picking, staging and movement of components and finished goods are conducted safely, efficiently and effectively. Execute the picking and packing orders accurately. Report on the safety and quality standards for the organization. Cross train team members. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping workstations neat; complying with procedures, rules and regulations. Operate and preventively maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment as needed. Follow standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Processes paperwork for the warehouse team. Performs other related duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

This position does not have direct reports.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Forklift driving experience and certification preferred.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Ability to work well independently and with others.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements and other related safety policies and best practices.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of (1) year experience in leading teams in industrial environments, with a strong preference for a background in customized manufacturing solutions.

• Must be able to work in hot and cold climates
• Varying work schedules based on business need are sometimes required
• Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear
• Must have a valid driver's license and/or ID
• Ability to operate a computer keyboard
• Ability to read a variety of materials
• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to carry and lift materials up to 50 lbs.
