Warehouse Supervisor

Monte Package Company, a Bunzl company, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for our facility in Boynton Beach, FL. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading warehouse activities, delivery and general office staff assigned to the branch. The Supervisor will direct the necessary daily activities to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. The Supervisor will organize and focus on improved productivity levels in a manner that stresses effectiveness by improving processes as well as the efficiencies of department team members. Additionally, the Supervisor will provide general Customer Service support.

Responsibilities:

• Assist team members in the timely and accurate assembly of customer orders, in preparation for shipment
• Provide a professional environment with relation to fellow team members, other department members and external customers
• Direct the necessary daily activities to ensure a safe working environment for all employees
• Organize and focus on improved productivity levels in a manner that stresses effectiveness by improving processes as well as the efficiencies of all team members
• Ensure company policies are communicated, applied and enforced (i.e. operational, safety, administrative, etc.
• Provide general customer service and administrative office support as needed.
• Maximize quality and productivity by understanding the expectations of the company and evaluating performance variances in order to identify root cause and corrective action.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Must have 1-3 years of previous warehouse supervisory experience
• Previous experience managing a unionized work force is a plus
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task
• Possess excellent judgment and decision-making skills
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) skills a plus
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Possess strong computer skills in Word and Excel
• Capacity to effectively plan workload and staff assignments
