- Collaborate closely with all RDC (Regional Distribution Center) leadership to continuously enhance departmental and overall operations and meet performance goals.
- Engage, motivate, and lead Members onsite by providing effective communication, coaching, training, development, and utilizing root cause analysis to resolve problems quickly and maintain high morale.
- Monitor and implement improvements to reduce shipping-related damage.
- Maintain a well-trained staff aligned with the staffing model to support current business needs.
- Identify cost savings and drive efficiency improvements across all RDC operations using RCI and lean principles.
- Lead and promote a strong safety culture aimed at eliminating recordable or lost-time accidents, including developing and delivering safety training for all members.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations Management, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven leadership experience within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
- Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to implement root cause analysis.
- Proven track record of driving safety initiatives in warehouse or distribution settings.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster a collaborative team environment.
