Job Description

Warehouse Supervisor – Early Morning Shift (3:00 AM–12:00 PM)Location: Stevensville, MD Reports To: Maryland Terminal Manager
About the Role:We’re looking for a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead early-morning operations at our Maryland LTL terminal specializing in flooring products. In this role, you’ll oversee inbound and outbound freight, direct a small warehouse team, and ensure safe, accurate, and efficient handling of all materials. What You’ll Do
Inbound & Outbound Operations
  • Supervise unloading of inbound trucks starting at 3:00 AM
  • Oversee scanning, staging, and movement of flooring products
  • Manage outbound truck loading, load sequencing, and securement
  • Ensure all freight meets company and customer standards
Inventory & Accuracy
  • Use handheld scanners and warehouse systems to track and update inventory
  • Maintain accurate product counts and resolve discrepancies
  • Collaborate with customer service and terminal management on missing or damaged freight
Safety & Equipment
  • Operate forklifts and train employees in safe forklift use
  • Enforce safety standards and conduct equipment/warehouse inspections
  • Maintain a clean, organized, hazard-free workspace
Leadership
  • Assign daily tasks and maintain productivity for early shift staff
  • Support training, coaching, and development of warehouse associates
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, customer service, and management
Process & Compliance
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, DOT regulations, and OSHA guidelines
  • Identify workflow improvements and assist with operational reporting
What You Bring
  • 2+ years of warehouse or freight operations experience (LTL strongly preferred)
  • Previous supervisory or team lead experience a plus
  • Forklift experience (certification preferred or able to obtain)
  • Comfortable using handheld scanners and warehouse technology
  • Ability to lift and handle flooring products as needed
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Reliability and commitment to a consistent 3:00 AM – 12:00 PM schedule
Compensation & Benefits
  • $28/hour to start – weekly pay via direct deposit
  • Health insurance (company pays ~50% on select plans)

Compensation: $28.00 per hour
