Job Description
Position Overview: Performs manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and delivering a variety of materials, equipment and supplies.Job Hours & Location
- 6am-2:30pm
- Benshaw: 615 Alpha Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15238
- Accurately picks large quantity of parts for production shop orders.
- Counts weighs or measures items to compare identifying info and variety against bills, invoices, or other records
- Examines incoming shipments for damage or shortages and corresponds with shipper to rectify. Completes paperwork or forms for documentation.
- Determines method of shipment utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
- Prepares materials for shipping by weighing, packaging, and stamping. Prepares necessary shipping forms such as bills of lading.
- Operates material handling equipment. Forklift to pull large, palletized boxes from high locations
- Performs other duties including but not limited to- Returning stock to warehouse, assisting receiving department, and general warehouse functions
- Other duties as assigned by management
- HS diploma/GED
- Forklift / Reach truck experience required
- Previous experience in warehouse or shipping, and experience with job duties listed above
- Comfortable operating a computer and utilizing a variety of programs
- Ability to lift to 35 pounds on occasion throughout a shift.
