About the Role:
Join the dynamic team at David's Discount Tires as a Warehouse Worker/Relief Delivery Driver! In this exciting role, you'll play a crucial part in our operations, ensuring timely deliveries and efficient warehouse management in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily operations of the warehouse, including inventory management and organization.
- Load and unload tires for deliveries to local customers.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks for delivery trucks.
- Provide relief for delivery drivers as needed, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse efficiency and productivity.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and deliveries.
- Assist with customer service inquiries related to deliveries and product availability.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or delivery role is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
