Job Description
WEEKEND MEDICAL ASSISTANT
Pay Range: The expected base pay for the position is $18-$30.65 per hour and may be increased based on other factors, such as language, certifications, etc. *Shift differentials for weekends are $1.50 for weekend days, $3.00 for weekend eves & $3.50 for weekend overnights.
- Complete community home visits
- Perform, record, and report to nursing: vital signs (BP, P, T, O2 sats), blood glucose and weights for identified participants
- Perform phlebotomy procedures at home visits as requested by nursing
- Assist with medication administration, including insulin, eye drops, inhaler administration
- Complete simple dressing changes as requested by nursing
- Report observations to nursing or primary care
