Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented individual to join our team as a Welder & Assembly Technician. This role supports light welding, metal fabrication, and mechanical assembly for aerospace components, tooling, fixtures, and support structures. Training is provided for individuals with mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.
Requirements
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- 0–3 years of welding, fabrication, or mechanical assembly experience (aerospace not required).
- Ability to read basic fabrication drawings, weld symbols, and traveler instructions (training provided).
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and basic shop equipment.
- Basic TIG/MIG welding experience preferred; certifications helpful but not required.
- Must pass a background check and pre‑employment drug screen.
- Must follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Ability to work well with a team and communicate clearly.
Duties
- Train on assigned welding and assembly tasks and perform work accurately and consistently.
- Conduct light TIG/MIG welding on steel and aluminum components.
- Assist with drilling, fastening, trimming, and mechanical fit‑up of assemblies.
- Prepare materials through cutting, grinding, deburring, and cleaning.
- Support fabrication and modification of jigs, fixtures, carts, and tooling.
- Follow drawings, weld symbols, and documentation requirements.
- Perform basic dimensional checks using measurement tools.
- Maintain accurate traveler and material‑use documentation.
- Inspect workpieces and report any discrepancies.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.

Schedule
- Full‑time: Monday – Friday, 6:30 am – 3:00 pm.
Compensation:
- Hourly wage starting at $17.00 per hour.
- Generous benefits package offered upon successful completion of the training/probation period.
