Welder

Job Description:

• Performs a variety of welding processes using electric resistance, oxyacetylene, or plasma-arc torches.
• Welds commonly used metals and alloys of various shapes, sizes, thicknesses, etc.
• Selects welding electrodes for specific welds to ensure penetration and fusion of base and filler metals.
• Fabricates or repairs products according to blueprints, layouts, or work orders by welding metal components together.
• Possesses a working knowledge of welding materials and equipment. Role could be performed by an employee with preferably a high school education or equivalent and welding certification required, and three years experience.

Compensation Information:

$24.55/hr
