Welding Lab Tech

Ivy Tech Evansville seeks a Welding Lab Tech to assist in maintaining day to day operations of the welding lab.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Keeping metal cut and prepared for classes
• Cleaning equipment
• Maintaining a clean weld lab
• Minor maintenance of equipment and power tools
• Some lifting required.

Work Hours:

• These roles are scheduled based on business need and hours can vary.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree and previous lab experience preferred.
• Some knowledge of welding processes
