Job Description

OverviewOur client is seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist to join their diagnostic imaging team in the beautiful Berkshire region. This role offers the opportunity to perform a wide scope of technical imaging procedures while applying independent judgment and creative problem-solving to assist in diagnostic processes. The position may include supervisory or instructional responsibilities under the guidance of the Lead Technologist or Operations Manager.Monday through Friday8am - 5pm with rotating weekends.Key Responsibilities

Perform a broad variety of radiologic imaging procedures independently and proficiently
Utilize PACS, HIS, and RIS computer systems; troubleshoot CR, DR, and PACS applications
Practice strict infection control and body substance isolation protocols in clinical settings
Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with all departmental and hospital policies
May assume supervisory or instructional duties as assigned
Attend and complete mandatory education (including bloodborne pathogens, infection control, body substance isolation)
Maintain departmental competencies and adhere to hospital/department policies, including OSHA standards

Required Qualifications

Completion of a formal Radiologic Technology Program approved by the AMA
Valid Massachusetts Radiologic License (MALIC)
ARRT(R) - Registered Technologist in Radiography (RTR)
Current CPR certification
Ability to function independently and efficiently in a high-stress, fast-paced environment
Commitment to attending all mandated training and education sessions

Required Skills & Competencies

Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting digital radiography systems (CR/DR) and PACS/HIS/RIS workflows
Strong patient care and communication skills with ability to manage a fast-paced imaging environment
Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
