X-Ray TechnologistLocation: Cleveland, MSFLSA Status: Non-ExemptJob Type: Full-Time | Travel Required for Training in Oxford
Position Summary:Specialty Orthopedic Group is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented X-Ray Technologist to join our Cleveland clinic. This position is responsible for performing high-quality radiographic procedures to assist providers in the diagnosis and treatment of orthopedic conditions. The ideal candidate demonstrates professionalism, accuracy, and a commitment to patient safety and confidentiality. Candidate must be willing to travel to our Oxford clinic for training.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process.
Operate X-ray equipment in accordance with established orthopedic imaging protocols.
Protect patients, staff, and self from radiation exposure by following proper safety procedures.
Verify and select appropriate imaging settings to produce clear, diagnostic-quality images.
Position patients accurately to obtain proper alignment and views as requested by providers.
Review images for clarity and retake as needed to ensure diagnostic accuracy.
Maintain accurate patient records, daily logs, and monthly quality-control reports.
Perform quantity and quality-control checks to ensure compliance with state and departmental standards.
Clean and maintain radiographic equipment, performing minor adjustments and coordinating service when needed.
Request and upload outside images for upcoming appointments or surgical cases.
Maintain inventory of radiology supplies and ensure exam rooms remain fully stocked and organized.
Assist providers and staff with other clinical or administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program required.
Current Mississippi State License in Radiologic Technology required.
ARRT Certification preferred.
1–3 years of X-ray experience, preferably in an orthopedic or outpatient clinic environment.
Strong understanding of anatomy, patient positioning, and radiologic safety procedures.
Willingness to travel to Oxford, MS for training.

Strong attention to detail and adherence to clinical protocols.
Dependable, punctual, and able to follow detailed instructions.
Proficiency with EMR and PACS systems.
