Applicants will have an opportunity to do a variety of tasks prior to, during, and after the event. If you want to volunteer a few hours or all day, or be deeply involved in the creation of the event helping year-round, this is the position for you! For more information on the Florence Esports Festival please visit: Volunteers may be asked to assist tournament directors or other volunteers, help register attendees, as well as answer their questions about the event. Volunteers will also be needed to test and set up equipment, market the event, introduce and coordinate speakers, manage tournament brackets, free play areas and general hospitality services such as cleanup and tear-down. We are always looking for great tournament directors and promoters! The more volunteers we get the more tournaments we can run at our events and throughout the year! Requirements A love of video games is the #1 requirement for this position. Prospective staff should have a strong work ethic with high standards of quality combined with a willingness to contribute to make the event a success long term. Additionally, it helps to be over the age of 18 and have an open schedule, or failing that, have your parents' permission to work. A background check may be required depending on the specific tasks assigned to a prospective volunteer. Benefits This event gives you the chance to meet new people and have loads of fun. XP League is an esports league that is modeled after classic youth sports organizations, making it easy for parents and kids to understand our programming. Through coach and player training—that is custom-tailored by the PCA, Aim Lab, and our program directors—anyone can become a successful coach. Parents with no video game or esports experience will be able to connect with their kids on a level they had never imagined. What are we looking for? We are looking for a Coach to join our team of dynamic, energetic, forward-thinking minds, working toward our common goal: providing a fun and safe learning environment for children. Our coaches are the lifeblood of our XP League. This individual oversees the day-to-day coaching and player engagement. Are you experienced in working with children? ITSS owns and operates the annual Carolina Games Summit. We host events all over the eastern United States and collaborate with numerous existing events!

Get involved in the game development and esports community by joining the Carolina Games Summit as a volunteer for our collaboration with Florence Esports Festival in Florence, SC on November 8-9, 2025! Applicants will have an opportunity to do a variety of tasks prior to, during, and after the event. If you want to volunteer a few hours or all day, or be deeply involved in the creation of the event helping year-round, this is the position for you!

Volunteers may be asked to assist tournament directors or other volunteers, help register attendees, as well as answer their questions about the event. Volunteers will also be needed to test and set up equipment, market the event, introduce and coordinate speakers, manage tournament brackets, free play areas and general hospitality services such as cleanup and tear-down.

We are always looking for great tournament directors and promoters! The more volunteers we get the more tournaments we can run at our events and throughout the year!

Requirements

A love of video games is the #1 requirement for this position. Prospective staff should have a strong work ethic with high standards of quality combined with a willingness to contribute to make the event a success long term. Additionally, it helps to be over the age of 18 and have an open schedule, or failing that, have your parents' permission to work. A background check may be required depending on the specific tasks assigned to a prospective volunteer.
