Job Description
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in estate litigation matters, including will contests, trust disputes, and breach of fiduciary duty claims.
- Provide legal advice to clients on matters related to estate planning, including probate and tax issues.
- Draft and review legal documents, including wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents.
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda and pleadings.
- Attend court hearings and trials and argue before judges and juries.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to develop case strategies and ensure the best results for clients.
- Build relationships with clients and maintain regular communication to keep them informed about the progress of their cases.
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice law in the state in which you will work.
- At least 3 years of experience practicing estate litigation law
