Our fast-paced and globally facing Business Affairs Department is in search of an ambitious and curious Business Affairs
Executive who will play a key role in supporting the creation and adaptation of Apple deliverables from a legal, cultural,
rights management and relationship management perspective. They will support the Business Affairs Managers and
Associates on larger projects and have an opportunity learn our workflows to develop their technical Business Affairs
skills. This role involves regular interaction with our Account Management, Creative and Production teams, as well as
our Business Affairs counterparts around the network.

The work:

  • Maintain usage logs and organize project folders within MAL’s online tools
  • Handle Production Finance matters including opening jobs, new vendor set-up, POs and payment trackers
  • Create Client-facing estimates
  • Research project-specific BA issues and needs (contact info, tagine use, products, talent vetting etc.)
  • Generate and maintain content licensing and international trackers as applicable
  • Assist with App Developer reach outs, approvals and licensing
  • Support localization workflow as required
  • Shadow team to build an understanding of SAG contract language, estimating and T&R payments
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with Account, Planning, Creative, Production and Finance
    teams and the global Business Affairs network
  • Work as part of team to ensure Client’s confidentiality and security directives are followed
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and legal precedents

Who will thrive in this role:

  • 1+ year experience in the advertising or marketing sectors. Legal training is not a requirement
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Meticulous precision and attention to detail
  • Occasionally willing to work non-traditional hours if needed
  • Interested in a fast-paced creative work environment
  • An understanding of the brand and US advertising industry
  • Team player, highly collaborative, with a calm, positive ‘can do’ attitude
  • Passionate about Apple, Advertising and Media

The annual salary for this role is $55,000 + Overtime eligibility.
