Job Description
ABC Supply, North America's largest wholesale distributor of exterior and interior building products is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Associate to join the Trade Payables Department located in Beloit, WI.

Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for the proper statement of inventory and the timely and accurate payment of invoices related to resale inventory.
Job Responsibilities:
Processing vendor invoices with accuracy.
Verifying vendor invoices to purchase orders and obtaining appropriate payment approval.
Identifying and reconciling any variances between the purchase order and vendor invoice.
Collaborating with vendors and branch associates to correct invoicing and receiving errors.
Investigating discrepancies to determine root cause and implementing processes to prevent reoccurring issues
Ensuring that the status of outstanding accounts payable items is effectively communicated and escalated as necessary.
Cultivating and sustaining vendor partnerships, overseeing vendor statements, and addressing vendor inquiries as necessary.
Monitoring accounts payable work queues to ensure that all invoices have been addressed.
Additional duties as assigned.
Essential Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in reconciling inventory payables
Previous experience with reconciliation vendor statements
Capable of working in a fast-paced, high volume environment
Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detail oriented with a focus on accuracy
Able to work well independently as well as with a team
Microsoft Office proficiency, with a focus on Excel
