Job Description
Project Engineer
Blane Casey Contractors is on the lookout for a talented Project Engineer to join our growing family! From educational to industrial, commercial to multifamily projects, we tackle it all with excellence. As a Project Engineer with us, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring our projects meet the highest standards while working closely with subcontractors, vendors, architects and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in project planning, value engineering means & methods, and developing milestone schedule
- Track progress of vendors and subcontractors to ensure work is completed on schedule
- Maintain project schedule to aid project leadership
- Generate and maintain various logs and correspondence with project clients/owners, including providing input to the daily job log
- Identify, document and estimate costs of extra work or unanticipated activities, and establish and maintain a project change order log
- Coordinate the transmittal and subsequent approval of all submittals to Owner/Engineer, ensuring smooth communication and compliance
- Provide assistance to the Project Manager in all aspects of project management, including coordination, problem solving, and other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering Technology or related field
- Strong knowledge of construction management practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Procore Experience a plus
- Valid Driver's license
