Tanium Engineer

The Opportunity:

CACI is looking for a Tanium Engineering for an Information Technology (IT) System supporting the Department of the Air Force (DAF) Enterprise Information Technology as a Service (EITaaS). You will build, deploy, maintain, and support operations of a Tanium solution for a global deployment of ~50,000 Endpoints.

Responsibilities:

The Tanium Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Implement and maintain a Tanium infrastructure

  • Develop and optimize Tanium content

  • Annual Performance Objectives

  • Passed all Department of the Airforce internal Gate Reviews without rejection

  • Ability to white-board the solution ad-hoc with the project team without the need to reference existing solution materials

  • Implement identified process improvement per quarter

  • Assist in Patch management and software distribution

  • Assist in policy development and endpoint compliance enforcement

  • Perform Endpoint Detection and Remediation activities

  • Troubleshoot Tanium-related issues

  • Aid in the development of the Project Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in conjunction with the ACAS Project Manager to ensure a 18-24 month cyber development roadmap

  • Identify technical continuous improvement and project execution efficiencies

  • Develop and implement improvements to existing processes and practices

  • Conduct investigation to understand root cause of issues and problems

  • Develop topology and flow diagrams with team technical staff

  • Develop, and brief, solution presentation material to program and DAF Engineering teams

  • Develops, and leads the development of, automation scripts and code efficiencies

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance

  • 10+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor's Degree in applicable field may be substituted for 5 years of experience).

  • Proficiency in Tanium: Core, Deploy, Patch, Enforce, and Comply

  • Experience with Tanium Solutions

  • Experience supporting the Department of Defense

  • One of the following Certifications:

  • CISSP or equivalent DoD 8140 Certification Compliance as a Tanium Engineer/Operator.

Desired:

  • Trellix Certified Product Specialist or previous hands on experience a plus

This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. However, this position is representative of positions within CACI that are consistently available. Individuals who apply may also be considered for other positions at CACI.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$71,500 - $150,200
