Job Description
Executive Assistant
Got a knack for wrangling chaos and keeping things moving? Straight Arrow Products is on the hunt for a sharp, proactive Executive Assistant to support our dynamic Vice President of Communications. This role is all about action-supporting PR and marketing efforts across our powerhouse grooming brands (Mane 'n Tail, Cowboy Magic, Pet Me, and more), plus the thunder of Boss Hoss Cycles. You'll be the go-to partner for a VP who thrives on hustle, results, and zero fluff. This gig isn't about sitting still-it's about stepping up, diving in, and helping steer big ideas from concept to execution in a fast-paced, no-nonsense environment.
What you'll do
- Tame the inbox: Prioritize, draft, and keep the VP's communication on point.
- Own the details: Track expenses, chase invoices, and catch what others miss.
- Master the calendar: Schedule meetings, travel, and events with zero hiccups.
- Coordinate like a champ: Keep PR and marketing projects on track across brands.
- Order smart: Source event gear (think boots, not bottles-purchasing's got the rest).
- Stay connected: Keep tabs on our 3PL packing crew's needs, pitching in when it counts.
What you need to thrive in this role
- High School Diploma / GED.
- At least five years' related experience supporting busy, high-level executives.
- A systems junkie - spreadsheets and timelines keep you sane.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with project management tools (i.e., Asana, Smartsheets).
- Proactive to the bone - you're ahead of the game, not scrambling behind it.
- Cool with the rough edges - messy offices and a packed box or two don't faze you.
- Detail-sharp but adaptable - big wins start with small fixes.
- A team player who thrives behind the scenes (or the packing table, if it comes to that).
