Job Description

Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate field surveying operations for various projects.
- Prepare and review survey plans, specifications, and reports.
- Supervise the work of survey personnel and provide training as needed.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and environmental regulations during surveys.
- Utilize surveying equipment, such as total stations, GPS, and levels, to collect accurate data.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates.
- Conduct quality control checks on survey data and resolve any discrepancies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Survey Crew Chief or similar role in land surveying.
- Strong knowledge of surveying principles, methods, and equipment.
- Experience in project management and team leadership.
- Proficiency with surveying software and technology, including CAD programs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with clients and team members.
- Bachelor's degree in surveying, civil engineering, or a related field preferred.
