Job Description

Our Level 1 Machine Operators prioritize safety, maintain quality, ensure operational efficiency, contribute to continuous improvement and share and grow their knowledge. This is an entry level career opportunity with growth potential within an Employee Owned company that prides itself on it's culture and quality.

Our shifts are Monday through Friday, beginning between 5:30AM and 6:30AM and ending between 2:30PM and 4:00PM.

This opportunity's pay is based on experience and starts between $17.00 - $19.00 per hour.

What your day will look like (Or) What will you do:

  • Follow Safety Protocols and guidelines.
  • Operate machine by feeding material through the machine and removing it when the cycle is complete
  • Inspect parts as they leave your machine
  • Take parts to Quality Control for inspection as required by ISO procedures
  • Package all orders as directed by the Work Order
  • Deliver all completed Work-Orders to the designated area
  • Place all completed parts on the shelf in the warehouse in the designated area
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance as instructed by maintenance coordinator
  • Make basic adjustments to machines
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement Initiatives for safety, quality, and process improvements.
  • Troubleshoot/resolve equipment errors and malfunctions.
  • Complete End of Shift responsibilities such as cleaning your area

  • Takes ownership and responsibility for assigned tasks, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Adheres to scheduled working hours, arriving promptly and being present for the entire duration of the shift.
  • Maintains regular and consistent attendance, minimizing unplanned absences or tardiness.
  • Notifies the supervisor or appropriate personnel in advance of any planned absences or request for time off.
  • Builds a reputation for dependability and trustworthiness through consistent performance and reliability.

  • Promotes mutual respect, keeps workplace clean and safe, and supports safety programs.
  • Meets commitments while working independently. Accepts accountability, handles change, sets personal standards, stays focused under pressure, and meets attendance/punctuality requirements.
  • Attentive to detail and accuracy and committed to excellence. Continuously looks for improvements, monitors quality levels, finds root cause of problems, and owns/acts on quality problems.
  • Manages a fair workload, volunteers for additional work, and prioritizes tasks. Develops good work procedures, manages time well, and handles information flow.

Qualifications:

You must be at least 18 years old, hold a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED, and speak and read proficiently in English.
