Job Description

Job Title: Account Manager
Location: Beloit, WI (Hybrid – In-Office to Start, Then 2 Days Work-from-Home)
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Central Time)
Compensation: $48,000 per year (Base Salary) + Commission | OTE $70,000–$80,000
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

The Account Manager will manage a portfolio of business clients, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and growth. This role is the primary point of contact for assigned clients, guiding them from onboarding through ongoing service and strategy support. You will collaborate closely with internal departments and vendors to ensure client goals are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the main contact for client communication, escalations, and service inquiries

  • Conduct monthly check-ins and quarterly business reviews

  • Maintain a deep understanding of each client's IT environment and evolving needs

Sales Growth & Account Expansion

  • Proactively identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities

  • Perform whitespace analysis to uncover unmet client needs

  • Prepare accurate quotes, proposals, and manage order processes

  • Track all activity using CRM and internal tools

Order & Vendor Coordination

  • Deliver accurate, timely quotes and ensure proper pricing and margins

  • Register deals and coordinate with vendors on special pricing

  • Process and track orders while resolving any order-related issues

  • Provide internal reporting on client activity and order status

Service Delivery Support

  • Respond promptly across all channels (email, phone, chat, text)

  • Work with internal teams to align service delivery with client expectations

  • Support clients in planning their IT roadmaps

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of Account Management or related client-facing B2B experience

  • Background in IT services or technology preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple accounts effectively

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools

  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

  • Strategic thinking with problem-solving capabilities

  • Experience working with internal teams and vendors to meet project goals

  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
