Job Description
Purpose
The Nurse Supervisor will oversee and manage front line nurses in our clinics, Patient Contact Center, and outreach programs including providing leadership, training, and coaching. The person in this role will ensure the quality of care to patients by working with nurses to implement and maintain evidence-based standard operating procedures, develop and implement protocols for clinical practice, provide direct patient care, practice at the top of their licensure, as well as adhere to all relevant state and federal regulations. This position reports to the Director of Nursing and collaborates closely with other leaders in the clinic/program and auxiliary staff to promote team-based care. In Housing and Homeless programs, support RNs working independently in community locations and/or clinics specifically serving people experiencing homelessness or who are residents of low-income housing.
This is a grant funded position.

Compensation:
- The target wage range for this position is $85,633.60/salary to $102,814.40/salary.
- Final offers are individually based on various factors, including skill set, years of experience, location, qualifications, work schedule and other job-related reasons.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conducts selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining of employees, including communicating job expectations.
- Protects patients and staff by developing and training for clinical practice policies and protocols, as well as other patient or staff safety topics.
- Completes patient care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing and staff, following up on work results.
- Conducts nursing skills and competency assessments by observing patient's interactions and/or auditing patient and department records.
- Serves as a mentor to the nursing team.
- Collaborates with clinical and administrative leads such as Clinic Administrators, MA Program Manager, SMDs, Directors and others.
- Provides direct patient care.
- Travel to multiple clinics to support nursing team and patient care as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
Preferred for this job:
- Previous management experience.
- Understanding of quality and safety principles.
- Display an understanding of local, state and federal laws and guidelines.
- Ambulatory nursing care experience
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or associate's degree in nursing with 1 year Community Health nursing experience
- 3 years of nursing experience
- Current/valid Washington State RN license
