Job Description
Main Function:
Griffin Health is seeking a dedicated Receiver to join our Purchasing team. The Receiver will play a key role in ensuring efficient and accurate receipt, delivery, and inventory control of supplies throughout the hospital and nearby facilities. This position supports hospital operations and contributes to a patient-centered care environment aligned with the Planetree Model.
Key Responsibilities:
Process all storeroom-related activities, ensuring proper handling of supplies and materials.
Verify the receipt of all incoming items and match them to purchase orders and packing slips.
Deliver materials, supplies, and equipment throughout the hospital and nearby Griffin Health locations.
Maintain proper inventory control, including stocking, cycle counts, and reporting discrepancies.
Support the hospital's operational efficiency by maintaining reliable attendance and punctuality.
Embody and promote the organization's Employee Philosophy and Planetree Model of Care.
Assist with basic purchasing duties and overflow tasks as needed.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience:
No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.
Additional Requirements:
Ability to lift and transport materials.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Commitment to excellent service and teamwork.
