Entry Level Maintenance Tech

All Things Metal is located in North Phoenix near Deer Valley Airport (Please note our company will be moving to 19500 W Jomax Road in Wittmann within a year or two, and will work between both locations, as needed). We are an industry leader in structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication and erection in Arizona. We are seeking an eager maintenance technician to join our team! This position might be perfect for someone fresh out of trade school. We are also open to experienced maintenance mechanic tech.

Job Duties:

Primary Role

Duties would include but are not limited to:

Small tool repair

Welder repair and maintenance

Shop projects consisting of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry

Fleet inspections, maintenance, and repair

Pick up and delivery of parts

Generator Maintenance

Requirements:

Hours: 5AM-3PM, some Saturday work occasionally

Ability to pass background check and drug screen

Valid Drivers License

2 years experience or recent completion of a technical school

Ability to work outside in the heat

Ability to stand most of the shift

Ability to lift over 50 lbs.

Be able to juggle multiple tasks, set priorities, and execute these tasks while maintaining positive interpersonal interactions.

Willingness to learn

Reliable transportation to arrive to the job on time.

Have a basic understanding of electrical, building, and mechanical principles.

Able to sort out priority of tasks and execute them in most efficient manner to optimize productivity.

Able to work in both an office and production environment.

Have a mechanical mindset or proficiently use hand and power tools

Basic computer skills
