Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Talent Business Partner supporting our Vallourec North American operations, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic people initiatives across Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Management. You will serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, aligning and implementing talent strategies with organizational goals while ensuring a best-in-class employee experience. Reporting to the Director, Talent Management - North America, the Talent Business partner will work cross-functionally to support global, regional, and local talent strategies. This role requires strong, strategic, and analytical thinking, and communication skills. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment and demonstrates Vallourec's Core Values: integrity and transparency, respect for people, joint commitment, and a high standard of professionalism, performance, and responsiveness.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Human Resources (10%)
- Partner with HR managers on performance management, coaching, development, and employee engagement strategies.
- Collaborate with HR teams on campus events and campaigns to support employee engagement
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Talent Acquisition (20%)
- Partner with TA teams on internship programs
- Develop and lead campus relations and community outreach initiatives, ensuring alignment and consistency across North America
Talent Management (70%)
- Support the design and execution of talent development programs, including talent review and succession planning, performance management, mentorship programs, and others.
- Support performance review cycles and leadership development initiatives.
- Analyze talent metrics to identify trends and recommend improvements to programs and processes, fostering a continuous improvement mindset.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE:

- Strong knowledge of Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, and HR best practices.
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Data-driven mindset with experience using HCM/HRIS. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to influence
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project management tools and Power BI is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND CERTIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in HR, with exposure to both talent acquisition and talent management.
