Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

Knows menu items.

Sets up and breaks down salad bar.

Monitors product needs and coordinates with kitchen.

Keeps buffet and salad bar clean.

Ensures buffet is correctly stocked.

Rotates and refills crocks and lettuce bowls when half full.

Manages hold times.

Assists in other areas of the restaurant when needed.

Responsible for completing opening and/or closing checklists.

Other duties as assigned by Company Management.

Requirements

(Minimum requirements for entry into position)

One-year of restaurant experience preferred.

Skills And Characteristics Required

Must be organized, flexible, and detail-oriented.

Strong communication skills.

Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

Ability to prioritize and multitask.

A strong ability to immediately comprehend and carry out a project with minimal supervision.

Physical Demands

Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must have a good sense of balance, be able to bend and kneel, and have the ability to lift bus pans and trays weighing up to 20 pounds.

Typical restaurant environment.
