As a Programming BCBA at UNIFI, you will be responsible for the initial assessment and ongoing assessment of skills with your patients. You will also design and maintain programming goals, conduct data analysis, and collaborate frequently with the Care Delivery BCBA and other members of the child’s “resource community” (i.e., physicians, therapists, teachers, caregivers, etc.) to ensure efficient programming, and therefore optimal patient progress.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assessment
- Conduct all initial assessments for potential patients onboarding at UNIFI
- Conduct skill-based assessments, normative assessments, and interview-based assessments with prospective patients and parents/caregivers, including but not limited to the VB-MAPP, AFLS, EFL, PEAK, Vineland (VABS), Social Responsiveness Scale (SRS), Parenting Stress Index (PSI), etc.
- Collaborate and coordinate the integrated care model with all physicians and practitioners in the patient’s Health Resource Community.
- Develop and write the initial treatment plan report for onboarding patients, as well as treatment plans for reauthorization.
- Hold and direct meetings with parents/caregivers to explain the breadth of services at UNIFI, the service agreement, treatment trajectory, and parent/caregiver expectations.
- Adhere to all UNIFI policies and procedures, including patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
Programming
- Collaborate with Care Delivery BCBA’s in order to complete all programming needs within UNIFI autism therapy’s data capture system (i.e., ReThink) for a caseload of patients.
- Serve a caseload of patients for programming needs, including the creation of acquisition programs, updating graphs, moving targets within the system as needed, data analysis, etc.
- Strong communication with the Care Delivery BCBA to ensure patient programming efficiency.
- Assist in the creation of treatment plans with the rest of each patient’s Health Resource Community.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Must display original thinking and creativity, meet challenges with resourcefulness, and develop innovative approaches and ideas.
- Must be willing to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to manage patient care.
- Excellent behavior management skills, instructional skills, oral and written communication, organizational skills, and interpersonal relations.
- Ability to work with a variety of patient profiles ranging from ages 1-18 years.
- Flexible availability Monday through Friday 8am-5pm.
- Valid driver’s license and clean and safe driving record.
- CPR/BLS certification-- UNIFI will pay for certification and recertification.
Experience and Education
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with maintained credentials for a minimum of two-years.
- 8-hour Supervision Certificate.
- Proficiency in the implementation of ABA principles and methodology, including skills acquisition strategies and behavior reduction strategies.
Work Environment
The Programming BCBA will work primarily remote, but must have the ability to work in-person across various environments, including but not limited to the therapy center; the patient’s home or school; and other community locations.

Requires the ability to operate standard office equipment, including a computer and iPad. Requires the ability to talk and hear (both in-person and on the phone).
While performing the duties of the job, the Programming BCBA is occasionally required to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; stand; walk; run; stoop; sit on floor; quickly transition from sitting to standing; climb stairs; use hands and fingers to feel, grab, and handle; and arms to reach and lift.
Travel
Programming BCBAs will be expected to use their personal vehicle to travel for offsite meetings. Travel time will be paid for by UNIFI. Mileage can be expensed. Staff will not provide transportation to patients.
