Job Description
Position Summary
The Host/Concierge at Wente Vineyards and Murrieta's Well property is responsible for greeting and providing a welcoming experience as guests enter our property at the main gate. We are looking for a candidate who enjoys the challenge of staying organized, yet flexible in a busy, ever-changing environment. The successful candidate will be a fast thinker on his/her feet with the ability to quickly assess a situation and make appropriate decisions accordingly.

Essential Functions
- Ensuring guests are directed to their desired destination on property. Welcomed upon arrival with enthusiasm.
- Obtain contact information and visit details from guests.
- Demonstrate proficiency when utilizing the work reservation system to make reservations, seat guests and add guest profiles.
- Monitoring the flow of guest seating around the property
- Presents a positive first impression with friendliness, excellent service and high standards.
- Effectively communicate the brand story.
- Provide guests with information on all offerings and experiences available at Wente Vineyards and Murrieta's Well.
Physical Demands/Qualifications
- Requires the ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
- Hearing sufficient to understand conversations, both in person and on the telephone.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.

- The ideal candidate will display a high level of hospitality, be friendly and enthusiastic, and maintain a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work in a multi-task environment with frequent interruptions and short deadlines, and sometimes a high degree of pressure.
- Open communication with Tasting Room leadership and team members, ensuring the best experience for our guests. Represent the organization professionally when in contact with customers and vendors.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills and strong hospitality traits (eye contact, warm welcome, smiles). The ability to adapt to a quick pace throughout the day, while exhibiting a warm and welcoming demeanor.
Environmental Conditions
The environment within the buildings is clean, well-lit and subject to extremes in temperature and humidity. Will be required to work inside and out-of-doors and in various parts of the facility subjecting the incumbent to variations in temperature and humidity.
