Job Description:

Scope of Position: Functions as a point person for coordination of new patient consult requests to provide a smooth transition of patient care for entry into the MBPCC system. Schedules all new and PET/CT patients for their first appointment and works with patient access and navigation when appropriate. Ensures that all documentation specific to patient's diagnosis is received prior to first appointment. Assists designated physician(s) in a variety of professional and paraprofessional patient care intake activities as specified and requested.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Coordination of new patient intake and care for all physicians
• Scheduling of all new consult patients
• Coordination of patient care services
• Scheduling of Imaging Studies
• Patient records

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Oncology experience preferred
• Minimum of 1 year experience in scheduling/intake required, oncology experience preferred.
