Job Description
Job Title: Adolescent Therapist
Location: Peoria, AZ
Schedule: 4 Day Schedule (Wednesday – Saturday, 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM)
Compensation: $70,000 – $80,000 annually

Position Overview
The Adolescent Therapist at HealthOp plays a critical role in delivering therapeutic care to adolescents in a residential treatment setting. This role supports our mission to provide compassionate, high-quality mental health services that promote lasting well-being for young individuals and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to adolescents in care
- Develop and monitor personalized treatment plans tailored to client needs
- Collaborate with families, schools, and support systems to promote client progress
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and clinical case consultations
- Respond to client crises and support behavioral de-escalation when needed
- Stay current with best practices and emerging research in adolescent mental health
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
- Current Arizona licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience with adolescents in a therapeutic setting
- Proficiency in adolescent development and common behavioral health diagnoses
- Preferred: Experience in trauma-informed care and family-based interventions
Requirements
Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
Current Arizona licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) or eligibility to obtain licensure
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience with adolescents in a therapeutic setting
Proficiency in adolescent development and common behavioral health diagnoses
Preferred: Experience in trauma-informed care and family-based interventions
